Careers — Open role
Mobile Developer
About the role
You’ll build iOS and Android apps connected to real operations — scanning apps on warehouse floors, customer companions, and field tools for crews. Mobile here isn’t a brochure; it’s the front door to systems businesses run on all day.
What you’ll do
Ship cross-platform and native apps for US clients, from wireframe to app store.
Integrate hardware — barcode scanners, printers, ring scanners — and make it feel effortless.
Run beta releases through TestFlight and Play tracks, and steer from what testers say.
Keep shipped apps healthy across OS updates, devices, and years of use.
What we’re looking for
2+ years shipping mobile apps that are live in stores today.
Strong React Native or Flutter, plus enough native (Swift/Kotlin) to go deeper when hardware demands it.
Care for the details users feel: speed, offline behavior, battery life.
Clear written English for working directly with the Houston team and clients.
Why Astotek
Small senior team, real ownership on both continents, and products that ship — your app will be in a warehouse worker’s hand or a customer’s pocket within months.
